Minimap & Pane Compass

The canvas is bigger than your screen. Three widgets keep you oriented:

The compass (bottom-right) shows every visible window as a slot in a miniature of the canvas. Click a slot to jump the viewport straight to that window. The Audit Log link under it opens the event log.

The minimap draws the visible panes relative to your current view so you can see at a glance what’s above, below, or beside the viewport. Drag on it to pan.

Minimized windows leave the canvas entirely and collect in the sticky tray at the top-left (it doesn’t pan or zoom with the canvas). Click a pill to restore that window; the tray itself collapses to a small counter chip when you want it out of the way.

  • Commands that target a window — ask Alex…, send command to the terminal… — restore and reveal it automatically, even if it was minimized or off-screen.
  • Tidy re-grids every visible window into view; it’s the fastest “where did everything go” fix.
