What we collect, and what we don’t.
Last updated 30 July 2026
The short version. Your code, your prompts and your agents’ conversations never leave your computer. The only things we hold are the name and email you give us when you register Mastery Lite, and your purchase record if you buy Mastery HQ. We don’t sell any of it, and one click unsubscribes you.
What we collect, and when
Mastery HQ and Mastery Lite are desktop apps. Your projects, prompts, agent conversations, workspace layouts and API keys stay on your computer — they are never uploaded to us, and we have no way to read them.
There are only two moments where information reaches us at all:
- Registering Mastery Lite. Your first name, last name and email address. If you register with Google instead of the form, we receive the same three fields from your Google account — nothing else, and no access to your Google Drive, Gmail or contacts.
- Buying Mastery HQ. Your email address and the record of the purchase. Card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.
Why we ask for it
Mastery Lite is free. Registering is how we know who is using it, so we can tell you about updates, new features and tips — and so the free edition has a reason to exist commercially.
You have to confirm the address before you can use the app: either by typing a code we email you, or by signing in with Google, which confirms it for us. That is deliberate. A mailing list full of addresses nobody owns is worthless to us and harmful to the people whose addresses get typed in by mistake.
The consent checkbox is separate, unticked by default, and we record the moment you tick it. If you do not tick it, we do not email you.
Where it is stored
Registration records live in a Cloudflare D1 database, in a service used for nothing else. Purchase records live in a separate database — the two are deliberately not joined together.
Email is sent through Resend, and payments are handled by Stripe. Both are processors acting on our instructions.
We do not store your IP address. The registration service keeps a salted, one-way hash purely to stop somebody spamming the code-sending endpoint, and those entries are deleted within the hour.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your information, and we do not rent or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
- We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics inside the apps.
- We do not read your code, your prompts, or what your agents say. That never leaves your machine.
- We do not email you unless you ticked the box.
Getting out
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and one click is all it takes — no sign-in, no survey, no “are you sure”. Unsubscribing stops the email; the app keeps working exactly as before.
If you want your record deleted entirely, email [email protected] from the address you registered with and we will remove it. If you also bought Mastery HQ, tell us — the purchase record is kept separately because we are required to keep sales records, and we will explain exactly what stays and why.
You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold about you.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or what we do with it, we will say so in the app and — if you are on the list — by email. We will not quietly widen it.
